Planning a Trip to Kenya or Just Transiting Through

I have been looking into the Kenya eTA process and found that it is actually quite straightforward for travelers. The main thing to remember is that everyone needs an approved eTA before arrival, and you should apply at least three days before your trip. If you are just transiting with a layover of up to 72 hours and want to leave the airport, you will need a transit eTA. I found the Kenya eTA page helpful for understanding the different options. Your passport needs to be valid for at least six months and you will need a recent photo. The visa fee is around thirty five dollars plus service charges. You can also choose faster processing if you are in a hurry. Just make sure you have your yellow fever vaccination certificate ready as well.
