Anyone else's Santa Fe burning oil between services?

I'm thinking of taking it to a reliable Hyundai workshop in Musaffah Industrial Area to get a proper second opinion because I've heard that independent specialists sometimes have more experience dealing with these specific engine issues than the dealership is willing to admit. Has anyone here dealt with excessive oil consumption on their Santa Fe or similar Hyundai SUV and managed to get it resolved, I'm curious whether it ended up being something like a PCV valve replacement or if it required more serious work like piston rings. I just want to know what I'm potentially in for before I start throwing money at the problem.
